how do i make a dry-erase board magnetic?

i want to make a star chart for my daughter using a dry erase board so i don’t have to keep making one but i would like to be able to use magnets on it as well that way if i don’t want to write something i can place one of my magnets instead

    Hot-Glue some sheet metal behind it. You can pick some up at your local hardware supplier. I’d test it out first to see if your magnets are strong enough to penetrate the board first. You’d be better off just buying a "magnetic board" to begin with. Or just using something you find around the house. A metal dinner tray perhaps…

    You cannot make a dry erase board magnetic. You have to buy one that way. You can find them at any local store (target, wal-mart, etc.)

    some do, others are only board white white board layer,
    note that if board is magnetic, the magnets may cause scratching over time, so whats important is the need to use, verses wear and tear,
